8 LEDs and a shift register seemed pretty easy to do but it wasn’t the most pleasant thing to do. There are few meaningful lessons I learned today:
1. Be careful which resistor you’re using.
2. Be careful that the metal part of resistors, wires are not touching each other.(avoid short circuit)

I’m very confused with board layout.
Only the bottom one is connected to the power input(5V). I’ve googled stuff but I don’t get why sometimes it should be connected to the power input and sometimes you don’t need to. Gotta ask it to the assistants on Tuesday.
Arduino Uno Board Layout is useful.
